Where does time go? Good golly it seems it was only yesterday that I was bored with the snow and cold! Not so now. The arena has been very busy with horse's coming and going. I have met so Many wonderful people in the past year, along with their horse's. I have added outside box stalls and a round pen. Horse's are rotated throughout the day from inside box stall, to the Tie-Line outside: where they learn to stand quietly and not dig a hole to hide in; to training in the arena -,where all the ground work starts and manners/respect appears; to the round pen outside: where under the saddle takes place and they learn to walk off quietly without the buck; to outside box stalls - where they eat, drink, roll and relax and then it starts all over again. Riding lessons are always fun. Watching a face light up once they get over their fear of the horse and they can handle it on their own is well worth the time it takes to get them there!
I am truly living my passion and I have God, my husband, pa, & the MN Horse Training Academy to thank for it. Our next job will be to cut the wood for the outdoor wood furnace that heats the arena and 8 indoor boxstalls!
