Flies, Bugs that bite - What to do??

I'm not sure about anyone else but we at Rock Solid Arena are sure tired of the biting bugs and face flies on the horse's!! I've tried about every spray, home made and bought from every store and none of them work for long! If anyone has any idea's, call and let me know. I'm going to get my smudgepots going tomorrow just to give them some relief. I've been putting them in their boxstalls during the hotest part of the day.
