It continues to be busy at Rock Solid Arena. Riding lessons are going good. Tommy goes home tomorrow after having him for 60 days. I will miss him so much. He is Such a good horse. I think I may shed a tear or two more. I sat and talked to him today. He listened attentively while he munched his hay and I talked about the past 60 days. He walked over, as I sat on a bucket in his stall, and began to lick my left arm. Then he licked and licked my right arm as I spoke of how I was going to miss him. I got a couple licks on my cheek to help wipe away a couple tears. I laughed at his usual antics - he's like a 1,000 pound puppy dog and loves to lick you. He turned his right hip towards me, indicating he wanted it scratched..... so I obliged and scratched him in return for two clean arms. He does everything I ask of him, when I ask him. Goes up, over, under, across and through. Comes on the run when you call his name - like he did when he first arrived. He'll go home to ND where there are no bugs this summer (I think I might go with him!!)
I'll miss you Tommy but I know your "parents" want you home now.
