Busier than a cat in a kitty litter pan!

Rain, ice, sleet, snow but cleaned my front deck off while wearing shorts 'cuz it was +40 yesterday. Looking at the barn, I wondered how I'd get to it! Everything's looking like a looking glass and everything was "uphill" from the house. Mandy came sliding down the hill with all four legs going in separate directions. I thought it was really gonna hurt but she missed me by a hair. Jer-Bear (cat) went out the barn door, slid around a bit and came right back in.  Managed to put some hours on the two new horses and made great progress.

Poco  did fantastic today. Sweetheart personality. Mandy is watching from the door. A whole lot nicer in here than outside - unless you have your ice skates on.

This was the third time Heza has had a saddle on. All the ground work has been done and he's doing wonderful! Very mellow - stands good when mounting. We use the two-step, step stool (stump broke is what we call it!) so that you can mount from anywhere at any time and the horse will stand for you until you tell it to move its feet. He is a three yr old registered quarter horse.
